Debbie Claibourn

Debbie helped us start the farm and was essential in the early stages. Her trips to lavender festivals shaped how we were going to lay out the farm for a better experience, long rows aligning with great backdrops and easy access. She enjoyed sewing and made all of our neck warmers, hot packs, and even the harvesting bags and runners as we needed them. Cooking for all of us while we were working with no structures to protect us from the elements she kept the work party moving. Wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed farm time with her grandchildren. She passed in May of 2019, her birthday weekend is the same weekend of our July festival, so for us we celebrate both her and our harvest the same weekend every year.
