About the Recipe
This all purpose meat rub really does compliment all kinds and cuts. Use on hamburgers, beef steaks, pork, chicken, fish, and even meatballs!
Ingredients
1/3 cup loose packed lavender buds
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon celery seed
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon ground dry mustard
1 tablespoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1 tablespoon onion powder
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all dry ingredients in a small blender or processor. Mix until texture is uniform. Resist the urge to smell what you made immediately...the chili powder will get ya... but do taste a pinch!
Step 2
Pour into a repurposed shaker jar, we like to use a mason jar and the ball seasoning shaker tops for all of our seasonings.
